Criminal Law &

Driving Offences

criminal law

Criminal law is a complex area. Advice is often required quickly. It is often critical to make quick determinations about how to proceed, for instance, whether to engage in a police interview (and to know on what basis refusal to answer questions may be permitted), how to respond to police, and in light of all the circumstances of an offence charged, how a matter is to proceed from a legal perspective.

If a guilty plea is to be entered, it can be important to efficiently agree facts with prosecutors, so that maximum statutory sentencing discounts can be secured (up to 40% if a plea is entered within 4 weeks of first court hearing).

It is important to receive sound legal advice at the earliest possible opportunity. Suzy treats all criminal matters with the utmost professionalism, irrespective of the nature of the charge being faced.
